Loved this, someong from group posted up a Slimming World fish pie the other day and it looked lovely! Here's my take on it, fish pie mix, prawns and a tuna steak fried in frylight with rainbow pepper with dill, parsely and samphire on courgetti and carroti, courgette spaghetti and carrot spaghetti from Tesco!

Slimming World Salt and Lime Pepper Calamari
Decided to try a new recipe tonight using the Lime Pepper I bought from Tesco today. I've never cooked squid before, not unless you count a shop bought bag of frozen ready made calamari! So I ordered some squid from Tesco and got three little ones for just under £2.00. I squidged out the tentacle bits and chopped off the wingy bits, and chopped the main body into rings. I used a tablespoon of flour which is two Syns, but only half (if that) of is stuck so I'm counting one Syn! Then I poked the tentacle bits and decided I couldn't eat them so left them out! Chucked the rings in the bag of flour, salt and lime pepper and shook. Chucked into a very hot pan for about four to five minutes and had with salad and my HEXB wholemeal thin toasted and cut into little triangles.

This Slimming World steak pasty recipe is all over Instagram today, and it's free if you use the thin as a Healthy Extra!

No Fat Roast In The Bag Honey and Mustard Gammon
I removed the fat and covered in 1 Syn of wholegrain mustard and 2 1/2 Syns of honey so 3 1/2 Syns in total. Shoved in a medium roasting bag and into the oven on 160 for about 1 1/4 hours. I'm calling it 1/2 Syn per portion roughly. Had in a wholemeal thin, healthy extra, with rocket and a salad on the side! Bought a bag of baby leaf and kale salad, it's OK a bit like nettles though. Think I'll stick to standard baby leaf salad in future!

Smoked Paprika, Thyme and Garlic DIY roasting bag chicken
I used the Maggi roasting bags a couple of weeks ago which are Synned on Slimming World so in this weeks shopping I ordered some plain roasting bags and added my own spices for a free dinner! Very impressed, the spices were lovely and the chicken just fell apart so much I took it off the bone with tongs!

Saturday Round Up and Chorizo Fest
Up nice and early this morning for double exercise class Urban Rebound and Step. Love getting in two early Saturday morning exercise classes, which means I hit the Green day on my fitbit by half seven this evening! Lunch was a wholemeal thin with rocket and the chorizo I made yesterday the flavour had developed, but not as much as when I had some with salad and cauliflower couscous for dinner this evening! Nice and spicy now! Definitely making this again, free, spicy and delicious!!
Having a nice glass of wine which I just noticed is sat on my Slim For Life book!

Free Slimming World Chorizo Patties/ Nuggets / Bites - FREE and blinking delicious!

New favourite recipe based on the River Cottage Tupperware Chorizo but tweaked to make it a free Slimming World recipe!
500 g Turkey Mince 5% fat (could make with 5% Pork Mince)
3/4 tbsp Sweet paprika
1 1/2 tsp Hot paprika
2 small Garlic cloves crushed
1 1/2 tsp fine salt
1 tsp Fennel Seeds
1/4 tsp Cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp Ground black pepper
1/2 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
1 tsp Sweetener
1/2 beaten egg
Mix all of the above in a large bowl and then make into little patties, nuggets, shapes and fry in Frylight for a few minutes each side until browned and cooked.
The River Cottage recipe says to leave for 24 hours for the flavours to develop, I'll let you know tomorrow evening how it's tasting!
I've made double the above so I can take some to tasting evening Monday!
Made the husband taste it to see if it does taste like chiorizo, and for spiciness! It was a thumbs up for the taste, and a not too spicy. I LOVE spicy and often can't really tell if something is too hot for someone who doesn't do spicy food!
Easy Oven Baked Cauliflower Couscous - Speed + Free

Love this recipe great hot or cold or could be used as cauliflower rice with a curry! I was lazy and bought the Tesco ready grated cauliflower, chopped some onions, chilies and parsley and mixed with the cauliflower. I added garlic granules and paprika and mixed it in. Put in an ovenproof dish and spray with Frylight. Bake for 10 minutes on max and then stir when it's browned on top. Turn the oven down to about 220 degrees and bake for another 10 minutes. Stir and place back in the oven for another 10 minutes. I was happy with mine after 30 minutes, but you can do for longer if you'd like it browner! I've cooked up a shed load so will freeze some for another day.
