Weekly Weigh In

Little bit late with the Monday Weigh in this week as I'm a little out of routine! Where I should have more time as my boy is on a school trip I've found myself a little lost without him and struggled to get motivated! I'm a complete control freak and any change to my routine completely throws me out! I had big plans this week to ramp up the exercise while the boy was away, but a pulled muscle in my shoulder means I've done a lot of sitting on my arse! Sods Law!

Anyway......lost 1 1/2 this week taking me to 1 1/2 below target. Aiming for another half pound this week so I'm two below target and therefore giving myself some wiggle room for when we are away over the summer for a few weekends......and out of routine! If I can teeter on the three pounds below target that would be even better!

6th week at Target and not doing too badly!

Took the Chorizo Bites and some of the Iceland Slimming World Mediterranean Chicken Sausages with me to tasting. Bought two packets of the sausages and really didn't like them much. VERY garlicky! Thought I'd free up some room in my freezer and take them to tasting for everyone to make their own mind up after I gave them a bit of a slating in Image Therapy the other week!

Saturday Round Up and Chorizo Fest

Up nice and early this morning for double exercise class Urban Rebound and Step. Love getting in two early Saturday morning exercise classes, which means I hit the Green day on my fitbit by half seven this evening! Lunch was a wholemeal thin with rocket and the chorizo I made yesterday the flavour had developed, but not as much as when I had some with salad and cauliflower couscous for dinner this evening! Nice and spicy now! Definitely making this again, free, spicy and delicious!!

Having a nice glass of wine which I just noticed is sat on my Slim For Life book!

Monthly Goals - July 2015

Been inspired by Instagram to set myself some monthly goals! Here's my three goals for July! Let's see how I go!

Away in July and August so want some extra lbs in the bank to cover the additional wine that will be consumed! Need to get the exercise levels back up too as I've been slacking a bit so cycling to work will help that and save some money on petrol! Need a push to try something new as well as I can sometimes play it safe and eat the same things over and over!

It will do the control freak in me good to have new targets lol

Body Magic - Cycling

So every year when the weather gets nice enough I dig out my bike and cycle to work. It’s just over 6 miles one way and takes me about half an hour. However I am quite competitive with myself and use Runkeeper – connected to my Fitbit – to keep a track of my stats. Last year my fastest time was 25 minutes 52 seconds and slowest was 33 minutes 56 seconds. This year I’m hoping to beat that record! Love having something to aim for, to get better at something, beat the previous! I don’t cycle every day but try to at least two or three times a week. I have to fit it in with everything else including Body Pump which I did do last year after a cycle to and from work and it killed! LOL

Here's yesterday's stats!

Dinner

New Slimming World Iceland quarter pounder burgers with mayonnaise, Laughing Cow Light blue cheese and BBQ sauce! Salad and baby jacket potatoes! The burgers were lovely, not as good as kangaroo but still nice and something we would all eat - husband and son won't touch the "bouncing roo burgers" ! Should have just had the one really as I can barely move 😝

Probably over syns today oops! Had 2 x tassimo lattes at 12 syns, the cheese was 1.5 syns and probably 3 syns of mayonnaise!

I bought some Tesco quark today, which is the best! Also got some blueberries, strawberries and grapes to go with it for pudding and usually add a Bournville Hi-Lights hot chocolate sachet to the quark for 2 syns. Don't think I've got room for it tonight so will have that tomorrow instead!

Body Pump was fab but I'll feel that tomorrow or Friday! The instructor is great really enthusiastic and fun and chatty all the way through, makes the class a good laugh as well as a brilliant workout.

Slimming World new BBQ range at Iceland

Just been down to Iceland to grab some of the new BBQ range and was very glad to see they were well stocked up! Last launch for the ready meals they sold out really quickly, everywhere apparently not just at my local Iceland.

Now my only problem is whether to go beef burgers or Thai burgers for dinner later!?!?!

ps I also really love Iceland Kangaroo burgers at 1 Syn each, they are delicious! More on them another time!

I'm about to go and get ready for Body Pump not been for a couple of weeks so this could be painful!

Before I do I'm adding a few links to Instagram accounts I find inspiring!

Give them a follow if you're on Instagram, well worth it!
